Introducing our first addition to the Wholesale Tea Co. our delightful English Breakfast. A blend of black teas originating from Assam, Ceylon and Kenya.
In the UK, the popularisation of breakfast tea has been attributed in part to Queen Victoria. At Balmoral in 1892 she tasted and enjoyed a blend so-named and returned to London with a supply.
The English Breakfast Blend has a mix of Assam, Ceylon and Kenyan tea to give a perfectly balanced blend. Our Expert Blenders search the world for the best quality blends and make sure that each batch of our English Breakfast is examined, tried and tasted.
Use fresh cold water. Then grab your kettle when it’s at a rolling boil (100C). Use 1 teabag per cup or 1 teabag per person in a teapot. Then infuse for 3 to 5 minutes (or to your taste). It’s best with a splash of milk or if serving it black, a slice of lemon is great, too.
Store your tea somewhere cool, dark, dry and airtight to keep it fresh.
